Description
Here goes the third in the series, a selfish and cowardly, gaudy wizard. Originally, this had to be an eladrin, a high elf but certain factors pushed towards a human or half elf approach. So far this took me the longest to finish 'tho I managed to keep within the "one per day" deadline.Beric is the cowardly wizard in a party from a custom D&D campaign dedicated on eradicating an undead infestation. The campaign has been amusingly called "28 Turns Later" as a spoof to the movie "28 Days Later" which deals with a similar issue.
He is just one of the six characters I've done for that campaign, most of them specially built to deal with ghouls, zombies, liches, wraiths and such.

I haven't seriously thought about this. It was meant for him and I was sorry this didn't got to him in the end. So, who knows, maybe one day I'll just go ahead send it to him.

Lol, yeah, I'm glad this one is so recognizable, I don't consider myself especially good at portraits. But as I said, Will Wheaton was considering in taking part on this campaign my partners organized at Gencon a couple of years back and wanted his character to look like his, as a token of respect. And this is the result. Unfortunately Will couldn't attend as I understood but I still had fun painting this character.

It does if the image involves more than one character or additional pets and alike. But those cases are rare, even when I do book covers. Those are my standard prices per character.

Well, the right approach would be to upload parts of a chapter you consider representative, without uploading the whole chapter. Upload only moments you feel representative for certain characters. Or just write the novel, publish it and then do the previous to advertise it.

I get the feeling that the Wizard looks a lot like Will Wheaton. But I love the armor and how character portrayed.

Well, then I did a good job because this character was meant for Will Weathon and thats why it looks like him. He was suppose to play it at a Gencon last year in a game organized by my partners but I don't know if he actually showed on for the game or not.

The fun part is that my client has requested that Beric looks like Will because there was the possibility of him attending that D&D session and the party wanted to have a gift for him. So I referenced the face with a picture I found around google. I haven't found if he played in the end but it I was told it was a rather thrilling campaign.

Glad you like it. I've been a bit restricted in this one, the cowardly, self serving persona didn't quite made it on his features. It ended up pretty nice 'tho. He's pretty cocky and arrogant so this is okay.
