Description
This is one of the rare Cthulhu commissions I get. I love the subject and read the Necronomicon but unfortunately I don't get many chances to work on the subject. Here, a damned follower of the Ancient Ones rips out his own skull to spill dark knowledge through the eye sockets towards a college professor and his companion. While the horrifying knowledge makes the professor back down in terror, his companion seems fascinated by what he sees.I know, its a bit redundant for me to describe what the image shows already but hey, just want to get the information across properly.

The runes are inspired by the Necronomicon's own glyphs. I don't know if you played Hellgate London but even there you can see them with every loading page.

I think the idea would have been even spookier on a dark background, maybe with some Cthulhu statues around.

For those glyphs I inspired myself directly from the Necronomicon of the Mad Arab Abdul Alhazred also known as "Kitab Al-Azif".

Ti-am raspuns in engleza din cauza ca mi-ai pus o intrebare in engleza. Am crezut ca vrei sa fim politicosi fata de ceilalti vizitatori si ti-am raspuns tot in engleza. Arabul Nebun se pare ca este o inventie a lui H.P. Lovecraft care a dezvoltat o intreaga mitologie in jurul rasei extraterestre Cthulhu. Iti recomand povestioarele "Muntii nebuniei" si "Umbra peste Innsmouth" - asta daca iti plac povestioarele cu iz gotic de la sfarsitul anilor 1800.

Ma bucur ca ti-a placut. Sunt putini scriitori care reusesc sa ma faca sa ma simt incoltit citindu-le creatiile. Lovecraft o face cu succes, la fel Stephen King (in Shining si Salem's Lot) si Serge Brussolo (in "Cosmar de inchiriat", "Carnavalul de Fier" si "Crucifix").

Pai calendaristic deja suntem in primavara asa ca poti sa incepi. Daca amani o sa uiti. Daca insa te apuci de citit, lectura placuta.

Nu e lectura obligatorie asa ca poti citi nuvelele cand doresti, daca doresti. Si pe aici a nins dar tot se simte primavara in aer si zapada deja se topeste.

Io's mai prozaica: nu simt decat putin reumatism in umarul stang si o lehamite de haine grele si bocanci!

Nu mai e mult. De sambata deja se incalzeste. In maxim trei saptamani o sa scapam si de hainele de iarna, o sa vezi. Si eu sunt cu reumatisme (am reumatism de la 9 ani) dar tot am o slabiciune pentru zilele ploioase cand in casa e cald si placut si pe casa se aude ropotul ploii. Rezista acolo, primavara e foarte aproape.

Si da, e placut cand ploua si e frig afara si in casa cald si nu trebuie sa ies nicaieri si pot sta in pat cu laptopul in brate toata ziua. De fap, vorbesc din filme americane, nu mi s-a intamplat niciodata asa ceva!!!!

Incalzirea globala, duce, paradoxal, la o racire a vremii. Asa ca da, e foarte posibil sa ai dreptate. Si ar trebui sa incerci varianta cu statul comod in casa pe vreme urata, e foarte placut.

Try "The Mountains of Madness" or "Shadow over Innsmouth", these are two of my favorites.
