I hope you wouldn't mind if I ask, but I'm curious if you have any info on how you make/where you get the lovely patterns you use on clothing?

I don't mind at all, but sadly I don't have any help I could give. A few of my patterns I purchased, but most of them I downloaded from DeviantArt. The trick with patterns is how you use them, and where. Also you must integrate patterns into your image. I am saying this last, because I've seen some artwork that uses the same patterns I do, and they just slapped the patterns on without going over, and painting over, changing the colors etc., on them. So remember to integrate patterns always. Oh, and aim for alpha channel patterns (i.e. patterns that don't have backgrounds). They are the best.

Right. Integrating can be the tricky part at times. Oh, don't worry, I /always/ go for patterns with clear pixels if I can help it. Though I have been able to get ones that at least had white and black pixels to work as well, but it took a bit of tweaking to get the white to convert to transparent.
I really need to start building up my pattern collection again, which is why I was asking. I'm always looking for good patterns to add to my collection.
Sadly, I am currently without Photoshop for the time being. Some how, though I still have the registration code, my photoshop disk went missing, and I can't install it on my new computer now. My version is too old as well to get support, alas.
Right now I'm pretty much working solely our of SAI, and while it can do patterns, I don't find as many that are compatible with the program itself, and it doesn't have quite as many nice tools for merging them into images as Photoshop does.

This is lovely! Their outfits look amazing; I not only like the design and colours, but also the details in the embroidery and on the armor! I really like their hair as well! Also, the male elf wears a cool looking circlet!
