ive done some semi-animated stuff now and then, but out of them Elysium is probably one of my favourites? it was intended to be a sort of anime-style opening to my Sonic comic/fanfic (previously known as "Checkpoint", but in the process of being renamed), specifically the Forces arc, and im still very proud of it. it's not too fancy from a technical standpoint, it's mostly just vegas pan/crop and some fancy text, but it still came out pretty close to what i was imagining when i listened to the song for the first time and that was basically a victory

ive had these "combined" assets lying around for a while now, but i don't think i put them on dA? this is probably the best artwork i have of my AU's Sonic and Shadow, and i really like how everyone else came out (although i wish i'd done a different pose for Knuckles because it looks very similar to Shadow's)

making stuff like this is fun and i love doing it!

the characters in the bottom 2 are my custom hero Double the Maned Wolf, and his friend Wayne the Jackal that gets mind controlled and modified into Infinite after being "given" the Phantom Ruby by Eggman. part of why Double joins the Resistance is to find out what happened to him! and the lyrics are intended to refer to both Sonic and Wayne/Infinite.
