THIS YEAR IN ARTFIGHT: everyone really loved my avali OC so i gave him a bit of a touch-up and a clearer ref image! ill post my actual artfight attacks later because theyre in a totally different folder lmao

this is Skeri, better known to everyone around him as Skrillex! he's got the usual deal of being the Starbound protagonist-- moved to Earth, studied with the Protectorate, the Ruin happened, he just barely escaped. then he crash-landed on an alien planet, and would have died if not for having the luck to crash on a planet where someone else had already fled to. Bard (my boyfriend's OC) was able to pull Skrill out of the wreckage, and Skrill filled in his new hylotl friend about what he'd just been through. they go to the Outpost, learn about the Ruin, and assemble a team of teenagers with attitude (not really) to take on the Ruin!

Skrill is optimistic in an attempt to pretend his trauma doesnt exist-- ive described him before as "has emotional baggage, but lost the keys" or something like that. he's very dedicated to being the hero, and is pretty sure he's not making it out of this adventure alive, but someone's gotta do it, right?
