I didn't want to do this. To share this. I was in doubt if I should publish such painful scene, but... I gave me the right to express my feelings. Is not because noone cares about your feelings that they aren't screaming inside you. Is not because your kind of pain isn't on the list of "world's respectable kinds of pain" that it isn't hurting, aching and making you suffer A LOT. I'm suffering, really, and I'm tired of being ignored and ignoring myself.I exist. I'm still here. I'm not an ex-somebody.
Gregory and Francesca were abandoned by the ones they gave their hearts. Gregory was left before, but his daughter didn't know this pain. But now he is hopeless, he doesn't believe his beloved is coming back. The only reason for him not give up is to protect his desperate child of her own pain. Francesca wants to wait the sunrise. Her love was her life. She would die for him, anytime. Now she's lost. The love of her father is all that's left. But is huge... and endless.
Gregory is a Toreador vampire, Francesca is a Brujah.

What's the story here? I became very intrigued by Vampire: The Masquerade recently back, and it inspired me to create my own Vampire story.

as I understand. our CAMPAIGN vampire is suspended for one year (two maste give you change, and this year we play Cyberpunk) and, as I really love my Lao Net runner ... I already feel so much the lack of Jessica and her paranoia XD

Thank you so much, my dear. It's a long story, but I'll try to explain it, quickly:
They are both vampires who are used to live in danger, for breaking the rules of Camarilla (I don't know if you know the game). Gregory because he wanted to save a condemned friend, and to get close to the woman he loves, Francesca because her Sire and lover was a Anarchist leader. They used to live hidden, and they were too dependent of their lovers, they couldn't trust anybody but them. But them they were left. The meaning of their lives were over. Francesca's brother was able to find their parent to help to save her, even not knowing he was destroyed too. Gregory came to her, and they are now fugitives, alone. Now they depend only of each other, and they understand each other's pain.

This is such a powerful image. The emotion is so raw and realistic. Most artists tend to try and make emotions like this 'pretty' on female characters, so the emotion doesn't come through as much. But you really went there, you weren't afraid to have her face twisted into pain, and she still looks gorgeous. I cannt praise you enough for this piece, it's extraodinary, and very touching.
I'm glad you did post this, it's very reassuring to know that others have had similar thoughts and emotions

It was a hard work in many ways, I've searched many references - and even look at myself in the mirror sometimes - to make their pain as true as possible. I'm not able to cry as much as I wish to, because nobody would understand, but they do, they're suffering deeply, they have "respectable reasons" and they are doing it for me. I hope they're able to stop someday and survive to this.

I saw something on tumblr recently that I've been sharing with others:
"A friendly reminder that it’s okay to cry.
I don’t care what happened; if a fictional character got hurt, or if an actor died, or if one of your friends made a ‘joke’ that hurt you, or you’re just having a shitty day, or even for no reason at all,
it is always okay to cry."
I think a lot of people don't realise that, I was one of them. I mean we always get told that we have it so much better than other people, that if we cry, or get upset or depressed that we're ungrateful. But that's not true. Depression and sadness doesn't discriminate. It can effect anyone and everyone, just like every emotion, and it's okay to show that. Even if other people judge us for it, we just have to tune them out and remind ourselves that it doesn't matter what they think, because no one but ourselves know what we're really going through and dealing with

Yes, you're so right. But I care too much about the others, not only for the judgement, but for the people who get really worried about me, like my mother. I hardly cry, so when I do she gets crazy and start doing everything to make me feel better... she's lovely but I don't feel like I got to get better on a hurry. I got my moment, it takes my time. Sometimes something reminds me of the person when I less expect, and noone around me is ready to see me cry these times. I only let these feelings come out when I'm alone, actually. But when I do... Gosh, I'm like a waterfall! XD

Oh no I agree, I hate crying in front of other people too. Sometimes you just need to go through your feelings and tears on your own to deal with them (for me that's all the time, I can't talk about emotions and things, I just have to deal with them on my own.) I also hate when people try to make you feel better, or when they try to hug you. I can't do physical contact while I'm bawling like a little bitch

"Soul's Little Lie" - www.fictionpress.com/u/120668/ has a very similar theme of lose, heartbreak, and hopeliness and death. I think my 'therapy' of my dark feelings will resenate for you in that you are not alone in your own pain. There are others like myself that are still feeling such pains and hardships. Give a read and I hope it gives you some light of hope inside. *HUGS*
Also, beautiful artwork. This piece reminds me very much of a similar work I did: Titled: "Tortured and Alone" of the main character David Geraci who still has to face his inner pain of how he was mistreated throughout his life by his father.
