I am drawn to this shot by its almost minimalistic feel, three simple elements, earth, sky and tree composed wonderfully to create an eye catching image. The gentle slope of the land leads your eye down from the left to the mature tree, standing proud on sentry duty. The tree most likely older than any deviant art member will have witnessed changes to the land, yet stands firm and silent. The clouds make their way over the horizon, suggesting change to come. A lovely piece of work, that makes me home sick for the countryside of England. Well done indeed. Simon
