Sort of a semi-Christmasish piece for a friend I roleplay with on PersonaMush, who made me a 'fan' of Adachi, in the way you could be a 'fan' of any villain type.

We've had a lot of interesting conversations over the 'nice guy' and 'ring of Gyges' tropes, and how, even if Adachi could find someone he appreciated and even loved, in the end, his 'redemption', however it comes, can only come from himself and his own actions. That's why I liked the 'true' ending of P4, and how they just didn't shift the blame on the true big bad's actions.

On PersonaMush he's found someone, but there's been many times when his own beliefs have repeatedly almost screwed himself over. It's been a fun ride, and it's great to roleplay and pick apart at tropes surrounding the character, without falling into bad, bad 'someone's love will change him!!!' or 'he's just misunderstood!!' territory.
