I thought you made them up till I read they were from Blues Clues.
White/ Light creatures being feminine and Black/Dark creatures being masculine is over-rated to me, although it's not bad at all. I like to do light masculine and dark feminine. That's just me. Wouldn't mind a male polar bear with a female grizzly bear!
I know this is overrated too but I still like the idea of Mr. Sun and Ms. Moon!
