Of course! And I had considered leaves, and can definitely see that more clearly now, but there's just something about this picture. The leaves look so solid and man-made here. It's quite intriguing

I agree. I think it is because of the monochrome rendering and the sharp contrasts, the leaves look a bit artificial.

I also find it really hard sometimes to describe my feelings about images in comments. Finding the right words is a difficult art in itself. But I keep trying, since I know how much I myself appreciate when people express what they feel about my pictures.
