Here's some music that goes along with this pic: [link]Had one of my moods and wanted to draw another sad-type pic. But I wanted to make it a sad-happy type.
So here's Rain when she first met Pyre at the orphanage. I'm not 100% on their ages, but for now I'll say Pyre was 4 and Rain was 9 or 10. Don't take this as concrete though, as I still need work on illustrating and recognizing ages, so I might change the details.

it amazes me how with a simple pic like this you can make me feel all theese emotions : the sadness of a girl who was always knocked down by life and the happiness and hope for a brighter and better future .... how beautiful.....

So now we know why Pyre has that heart pendant. The image and music fit together quite well. I like how you used an uneven shift from the light to the dark. It would be interesting, and perhaps good practice, to see the two of them at multiple ages, like the two of them at 8 and 12-13, and then when they're both in their teens, and so on.

This is really cute picture. I love how light radiates from rain and chases away the darkness that sorounds pyre. I know it'sa commonly used effect but it is still prettygood.
I like some of your more seriousely toned pics~ I like when characters have a background. it's a good reference point for how they look at life and why they do the things they do and act the way the act.
