Well, I admit I have strong addiction to morally ambiguous characters sometimes.
It was not planned to look so heroic. Sorry :/

This kind of style always calls my attention, I just love the simplicity of the flat colours and how well they fit the drawing.

I have a challenge for you: illustrate either the scene when Morgoth slays the twin trees with Ungoliant, the scene when Maedros is rescued by his singing above Thangorodrim, or the scene when Fingon(?) battles Morgoth in single combat. Another good one: the fall of Gondolin.

The swan boats in the background look awesome. I really like how some of them are red and one is white. Makes me believe that the first two are coated in blood

For drawing lines I can`t find anything better (and lines are much more important for me than colour).

Sometimes I prefer rough strokes that make the picture more 'vivid'...sort of...
but illustrator is really a good choice for line work! Good job~
