Description My darling children Jessica and Jack. We drove down to Golitha Falls on the River Fowey and decided to take the high path down to the Falls, despite Jack's protests that we were going the wrong way.

I took the shot opportunistically, enjoying the moment of the two of them walking together. This photo is not particularly artistic, not at all well edited... I don't really care about that on this occasion to be honest. This is more about the moment: Jack trudged ahead, grumbling about how I didn't know what I was talking about and Jessica kept pace with him, offering him a sympathetic ear.

That's so great, thank you! To me it's one of those pictures where the subject "makes" the photo and no amount of processing can improve on it, so that makes it more important for me that my friends enjoy it.

As I recall, Jack was a name my wife always liked and we went with it because I couldn't suggest anything that she liked more. If he had been born a girl he would have been called Cara.

Jessica... we just always loved the name - we'd thought about using it for Jack if he was a girl but I was being stubborn at the time. Sarah had chosen Jack as a boy's name so I had chosen Cara as a girl's name. Thems were the rules

I have 10 days to have as much fan as I can think of and 10 days to study XD.I don't think I'm going to travel somewhere,but I have in plan few picnics and something like that

Last night I found that Jessica had written "I love you" in ink on my wife's favourite tablecloth... after reading that, I felt horrible telling her off.

As far as improving your photography skills is concerned, the best advice I can offer is to stick to the Rule of Thirds when you're composing your shot.

It's a beautiful place, Dee - you don't get that from this shot but once you crest the hill and start down you see some gorgeous white water rapids. Some of my older photos were taken at these Falls so you can see what I mean. Thanks for the comment and for the
