Before moving to Canada, Matthew Nielsen (aka The Nuclear Jackal ) studied the Diploma of Art & Design in England with me. Last summer, I made contact with him via email and we had a marvellous opportunity to relay everything we'd been up to in the twelve years since graduation. I feel lucky to have him as a friend; it's amazing to see how well he's done and I like to think that his streetwise sense of humour has helped to make me the artist I am today.
