Laura used her art to put certain suggestions into Matthew's mind, such as that Matthew should start dressing in women's clothes.

The next day, Matthew called his sister, asking her to go shopping with him. It was hard for Laura to hide her enthusiasm, having in mind what she had done the previous day. In the stores, Matthew no longer wanted to look at men's clothes, and instead headed toward the women's department. Laura was particularly attentive to the dresses or heeled shoes her brother was buying for himself.

From then on, Matthew began to wear only women's clothes, wore makeup, earrings, beautified his hands, everything to look beautiful like a real woman. Laura was proud of herself for doing what she wanted.
