I like it but the halo looks a bit crooked. I don't know why. It might also be cute to see a little twinkle off of the halo to look like its sparkeling. I love the blinking effect... Super cool!! Great job keep up the good work as always!

Now I agree with the people above me saying white should be a good colour to use. But shading with grey wouldn't be your best option.... if you chose to change colours. Try a blue, blue and white look much better when shading than grey and white. The majority of the body should be white and a very light blue, with a little stronger blue round the edges.
Maybe you should consider using a blue like colour borders to better make use of the emote, a black border for a white emote would be very harsh. Also you should add more colours to the the halol to make it better stand out.
But the expression is very nice and simple, which is good, portrays innocent very well and needs no change what so ever.
over all its good but a colour change I would opt for to, if not white a lite blue would also do quite well for a base colour.
