Cloud and Barret from FF VII fighting the first boss of the game. I so loved this moment... I'm not sure why. Probably because of the great music score. While the fights were slow and turn-based, I always imagined how they would actually look like.This is a piece I did while joining the FFVII-Moments project, where I and other artists rebuilt the story of Final Fantasy VII like a multi-artist storyboard. Easily my fave of your drawings, and that's saying something because your art is great. This is just awesome, though, really epic. I'm so glad you picked this piece. Cloud and Barret look so damned badass, I love the eerie glow of the materia (and how not all slots are equipped), and I adoooooooooore the colouring/lighting. Just great. Top job.

Thank you, I really put a lot of work in this. Despite a couple of mistakes I'm satisfied with it
The three materias are, in my mind, the way I always put them in the game: lighting and restore to Cloud, ice to Barret
