Thanks Leasha, but I have to admit is is pretty different than what I thought I'd come away with. I forgot about perspective… and that a HUGE bridge in the foreground will diminish the size of skyrocket bursts… LOL!

Yep, the trick is to make the most of your surroundings… truth be told, the SF Bay Area has been so overexposed by photographers… it is nice to get to places where nopt so many people with cameras are documenting every single thing.

Shasta's a cool mountain. I remember taking pictures of it from the side of I-5 on our way to California back in '09. Beautiful area.
