Description This is my round 2 submission to the Outcast Studios Battle Royale. Some folks felt I didn't try hard enough in round one so I'm bringing it this round. My character for this event is the Hulk and this round I was matched up against Dante from Devil May Cry... FYI, the Devil WILL Cry.

Inks and colors to come

I know you're not looking for critique necessarily, but you could get a lot of impact from simply making the dust clouds a little more complex. I like their motion and simplicity on one level, but if you could retain that and also use them to activate the borders of the composition you'd have more balance and a seemingly more dynamic look. But what do I know? Cheers.

You're absolutely right. The pencils are the layout though so the dust clouds and big rock he's lifting will both be painted over. They're really just placeholders. Same for the shades on Hulk and Dante. I'll have traditional ink lines for the the figures but a lot of "choppiness" of the pencils will be smoothed out in the colors and effects.

Practice, practice, practice... and I still don't think I'm very good. But that's the key right there. I'll keep working at it until I get where I want
