THE FANTASTIC FOUR FRIENDS AND FOES REDESIGN ALPHABET IS BACK!after a crazy CRAZY hiatus I promise to give each and every one of these BLASTED DESIGNS to the masses who so desperately crave them! (I’m sure all three of you are pleased)
So, we’re starting off with a silvery big bang! I really wanted Norrin Radd to seem otherworldly, humanoid but not EXACTLY earthling-based, so I strived to invent a few things that were classic “surfer” but a little off to the left; I gave him new anatomy, as I thought it’d make him more interesting to look at, I dramatized the features made famous by Kirby’s design because his EYES and CHEEKS and LIPS are JUST SO COOL. And the biggest change of all, obviously, came with designing his board. I wanted to see if i could make it less of an object and more like an extension of the power cosmic, so, I had the idea that he crafted a small perpetual motion engine out of the startdust and physics required to operate a small baby galaxy. In a way, this has a cool logic too it, you’re an all powerful space herald, why not stand atop something as NATURALLY traversing as a galaxy when hopping from glalaxy to galaxy? I also like to think it’d make a really great weapon for him, as he steps off the “board” he can command it’s size and strength, creating gale storms of cosmic power no one quite has the power to stop.

I just want to start off by saying awesome redesign and can't wait to see some more fantastic four redesigns!!! But (not trying to sound too pushy) what happend to the redesign a character every day thing, why'd you stop?

Honestly I got swamped with doing a big pitch for Image and I really want to hit my deadline, but once that's over I'll upload the drawings I already did and continue with others day to day.

"Ya know what would be epic???? Silver surfer was another one of my most favorite marvel hero's of all time growing up. I used to read the comics,watch the fox kids show,and have figures as a kid and be like "ey look mama I'M SURFIN IN SPACE
oh wait thats the silver surfer dum dum dum duuuuum"
what if we took and made a silver surfer movie now and mixed the old school stuff from the cartoons and comics of the past
And bring it to this gen
