Buggsy G McNutts, that is.This diminutive hazelnut-hoarder first appeared in my gallery quite some time ago, as the subject of a pencil-rendered sketchy pic . I thought it was high time I got round to giving him the full ink-and-colour treatment, for MYSTERIOUS REASONS that will definitely be revealed at some point in the future, probably.
Just remember, kids – not all cartoon squirrels spend their time singing cutesy songs and promoting road safety. Some will pounce on you from darkened hedges and steal all your acorns. The bounders.

An extremely astute observation. Buggsy is, in fact, a proper wee hoodlum mixed up in a woodland-based protection racket, and not a nice squirrel at all. He'd be more inclined to launch into a knife fight than a cutesy song and dance routine.
