Description By Jack Lawrence

Anyone who professes to know lots about comics should already be amply aware of just how groovy an artist Jack Lawrence is. He's the original arty guy behind Darkham Vale and Lions, Tigers and Bears, he's provided some cracking covers for a variety of other comics (such as the first two issues of Go Go Gorilla for Ape Entertainment), he's presently doing sterling work as the chief toony bloke on ATOM, the comic book based on the animated show of the same name, and he has his own gallery here on Deviant Art, which you can see by stepping through the adjacent web-portal: [link]

Delightfully, he's just as groovy in person. I was lucky enough to bump into him at this year's Bristol Comic Expo, and without a moment's hesitation he agreed to provide not one, but *two* renditions of Apeman and Monkeyboy in his own terrifically zappy style. (The second one was done as a gift for Larry Williams, the talented chap who writes AM and MB's adventures, and may very well appear here later.) Great, innit?

Folks who weren't previously aware of Mr Lawrence's aceness should hang their heads in shame, then raise them again and do their eyeballs a favour by examining his gallery immediately. So click that link and GORGE YOUR PEEPERS. Your retinas will thank you for it.
