I lover both Black Panther movies. The land of Wakanda, the Doar Milaje, Shuri, all of it. For me the big show-stealer has been M'Baku. He debuted way back in Avengers #62 as T'Challa's rival for the throne and leader of the cult of the white gorilla, a rival to the black panther cult. Back then he was called Man Ape, a name that has thankfully been dropped in favor of his real name. I liked his appearances in Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes, but loved Winston Duke's portrayal much better. He has moved from being a two dimensional villain to a nuanced ally of the royal family and a clever, brave, and loyal warrior. Avengers had a much larger and less human-looking version, but I've gone with a style that suggests warrior more than monster.
