Description Here is a version of a monster society of evil if I was creating it. I have chosen, mostly obscure villains, who have only appeared once or twice, who I really like, with a couple of more popular favorites.

Parasite—created by Jim Shooter in this is the Maxwell Jensen version of the character who debuted in Action Comics #340 in 1966.

Ultra Humanite—First appearing in Action Comics #13 (1939), the humanite was Superman’s first recurring foe. Ultra was a brilliant scientist who would transfer his brain into a new body whenever the old one wore out. He was created by Jerry Siegel & Joe Shuster.

Validus—A gigantic brute witht he brain of a child, Validus was described as being a dozen times stronger than Superboy and was one of the Legion of Superheores’ most powerful enemies. Validus was created by Jim Shooter and first appeared in Adventure Comics #352 (1967).

Krogg—An other-dimensional brute, Krogg defeated the Superman of Earth 2, and the Superman of Earth 1 in quich succession. The two Supermen merged into a single, much more powerful giant Superman to fight the alien menace and managed to defeat him. Krogg was created by Gerry Conway & Curt Swan. He appeared only once, in Superman Family #186-187.

Princess Tlaca—A one-shot Aztec foe of Supergirl with solar powers, she appeared only once, in Superman Family #165. The is super strong and durable (though less so than a Kryptonian) can fly, teleport, and fire blasts of solar energy. Created by Eliot S. Magin, Artie Saaf, and Vince Coletta.

Zha-Vam—Created by the gods of Olympus as a rivel for Superman, Zha-vam’s name was the key to his powers. Z=Zeus (thunderbolts), H=Hercules (strength), A=Achilles (Invulnerability), V=Vulcan (fire powers), A=Apollo (archery), and M=Mercury (speed). In addition to his personal powers, Zha-Vam carried a utility belt that gave him access to other powers. Touching the C on his belt gave him a cyclops eye-beam, G gave him a gogron’s power of petrfication, I let him use the rainbow of Iris to bind others, J gave him dragon’s teeth, like those used by Jason. /casting them into the ground allowed him to grow an army. M gave the sleep/dream casting powers of Morpheus, O give him the impenetrable shield of Orion, P gave him Pluto’s cap of invisibility, S gave him four arms, like Shiva, and T allowed him to become a 100 foot tall titan. Zha-Vam was created by Otto Binder and appeared in Action Comics #351 and 353.

Rick Lawrence was a small time criminal who gained the powers of the last person to defeat him, though his powers were only actice while fighting. He absorbed the powers of a boxer who knocked him out, then of Wonder Woman, and finally those of superman. Rick was created by Jim Shooter and Curt Swan and appeared only once, in Action Comics #452 (1975).

Karkull—Named after a scientist-turned-sorcerer enemy of Dr. Fate, Karkull was an otherdimensional being of great magical powers. He was created by Hilary J. Bader and Stan Berkowitz and appeared on the “Hand of Fate” episode of Superman, the Animated Series.
