It is. I don't know how to explain it, but it just does. Maybe it's the smaller heads or softer edges, I don't know. But it is.

I really do love this pairing even though I've kinda avoided watching/reading Naruto in general. Would you recommend the manga over the anime, or the other way around? But back to your pic, you did a great job on both of them, and conveying both of their personalities. I really like how they look when they're older!

oh karen-chan, the manga is far better in my opinion. a snail moves faster then the anime although it is nice to see the characters in full color, but generally the animation is choppy and of bad quality. the manga is much more consistant with quality and is FAR better paced. i think you'd actually enjoy it alot.
i like how they both look older too, although hinata is still cute either way. oh the shy girl is shy.

i've heard of the anime but haven't watched it yet.
it's good though? i usually have 2 animes on the go, one being a more action-esque oriented and the other being romantic/slice of life. that could be my next action-esque one.

this is romance betrayal and ninja action.
It's one of the few animes I would never have turned my nose up even at my most kill kill anime stage.
The animation is beautiful too
