Description My very first commission for my dearest friend .

She wanted herself along with me and her two best friends, Momo and Kitty in Persona 3 attire.

Certianly this stands out from you other works in a very good way, the uniforms look pretty awesome also. The shading works really well and you've out done yourself with those guns oh the envy I have such a hard time with guns.

And of course, being a persona nerd, Kevin expresses his love and excitment of this as well lol

thank you so much! i work hard for my commissioners
for the guns i totally cheated by copying and pasting a new layer for each gun that i got off the internet, then lowered the opacity, then linearted the whole thing followed by deleting the original. get what i mean? it worked pretty nicely.

Ohhhhhhh, I LOVE EET! This totally made my day. You made all of us look so very bamf. Jeez, where do I start.

The expressions are pure genius as you tend to be able to do -you have your customary confident smirk, I have the contemplative stare goin' on that I don't even realize I do most of the time, Momo looks kinda playful with her head tilted to the side (and the little keychain is priceless!), and Kitty has that borderline spaztastic spazzer-ness going on! You kept us all within that dark-ish Persona mood, though, and that's impressive.

AND OUR OUTFITS!!!! I love 'em! The different aspects to our outfits do loads to confirm our personalities - you know I would SO be all about the frills ... and neck ruffle! Same with the evoker guns, I like how you made those all different (lol, I like how I got the little pistol! ) And you and your popped collar, most definitely. And wow, I can even notice the slight variations in all of our skintones!

Great great work all around, Matt-kun! This was definitely a commission well spent.

oh hurrah!! i was kinda nervous about this but i'm glad you like it karen!

i'm pumped you were able to pick out those subtle facial expressions. i wanted it to still be kinda persona-esque with our own personalities still kinda shining through. so that apparently worked out nicely.

and i know you wanted us each with little changes in the typical outfit to exemplify personalities a bit more so that was somewhat challenging, but i think it came out ok in the end. the popped collar was easy for me and i actually added the frills for you a little later. i'm really glad i did.

speaking of skin tones though, i honestly have lately been having the hardest time with them. your pictures always have aamzing looking skin tones. do you have some kinda secret to getting such excellent looking tones?

anywho, i'm so glad you like it karen-chan! it was fun to work on!
if it makes it easier, just take the 7$ this would have costed off of the sebastian outfit when you give me the total for that kay?

Hmmm, well, for fan art I kinda cheat and pick up skin colors from an official image (though sometimes I have to tweak it a bit, or else it looks funny). For OC's and everything else, I wing it, but I tend to choose colors that are more neutral and less bright, like they may have a TINY bit of gray or brown in there, since no one naturally has bright peach skin. And I find that some people have more pinkish, olive, or yellow undertones, even if they're all the same light-ness/dark-ness. I try to mix it up, and it works for me. You did really good here, though - I wouldn't have guessed you'd had any problems here.

All right, I'll go ahead and deduct $7 from the cost of the costume.

i shee...i should use some professional images as a starting point to save some anxiety then. i've done it before and it does seem to work decently well.

persona is a game series. these outfits are based off of the third game school uniforms.
