I haven’t posted any recent artwork in my DA in a while since most of the time I’m busy with my personal priorities and all, but hey, here’s another hand-drawn MATTerpiece (yeah that name sucks) that I’d like to share with you all. So this drawing right here, usually represents this idea of having this sense of a calm environment, something that you can just relax and dream of wonderful ideas in your mind, or just basically having this thought of relaxing and taking a stroll in the park. So here, we Baby Lamb and Belle Butterfly just being the cutest pair, and Edd just drinks his cola underneath a tree as an apple would give him a coma for about…. 5 seconds. Now the art itself, I’ve decided to use some new coloring and design techniques to make the art more appealing after taking a first glance. Most of the drawing tools I used are new that are from five-below. From a new set of coloring/sketching pencils, to new drawing tools to blend the colors as well. This drawing took my 4 WHOLE HOURS to complete to the point I’ve worked my ass off up until midnight last night because sometimes I’ve been in an art block, but the motivation comes back every time I listen to most Eddsworld content and listening to Edd’s animation/comic livestreams while working. But what you don’t know is that I also add some droplets of whiteout onto the artwork to create the stars as shown in the photo.
