This is a shot of 6th Avenue from the balcony of the 13th floor apartment I was staying at in NYC. I'm not entirely pleased with the quality of the photograph but I like the composition enough to submit it. I get dizzy and lightheaded every time I look at it.Related content

When the artist comments on feeling dizzy and light-headed every time he looks at this photograph, it's right away easy to understand why. This is a nice and quite colourful taste of what the night-life in a big city can be like. This photograph can easily be one of those that just hit you right in the face, with it's bright and vibrant streets full of people headed who knows where (in strong contrast to the jet-black and lifeless sky).
And personally, I find myself rather enjoying this photograph, for the pretty spontaneous and photojournalistic feel it has. Why spontaneous? The photograph looks like something that was taken on the go, just for the sake of having a memory of the place, with little (or no) real focus point or planning put into the composition. Perhaps that's what gives it the charm it has.

I somewhat edited the exposure afterward but other than that, the picture is just "as is". New York is a bright city
