These are two designs I did for my Fundamentals of Design class. The assignment was to pic a natural object like an animal, mushroom, or plant and then simplify it's form so that it can be recognized but it still looks like the original shape. The top is for extra credit and the bottom is the real one I did. The top one is a little more clean though. I hope the teacher doesn't mind the black paper I mounted the designs on. Anyway, comments and stuff would be appreciated. I'll probably be posting a lot of my college work here...Related content

The dark to light from the center to the edges on the top peice is pretty interesting, but it doesn't exactly scream "bamboo". I wasn't sure what I was looking at until I read your comments. Looks really crisp and clean too ^_^
