Description I saw this very strange insect thing in a park, and just had to photograph it. I have no idea what the hell it is, and if anyone out there can enlighten me, I'll be greatful. It was a very agressive bug, and I wasn't sure it wasn't dangerous, so it was very hard getting any photos that looked remotely decent. This was the best of the bunch, really.

I wish I could help you with the naming of this insect but I really can't think what it is, and I looked online to see if I could find some similar specimen but I couldn't really find anything. Was it black and yellow? Looks almost like some sort of scorpion like bug.
I like how this photo seems to have turned out. It's almost as if the little fellow is doing some sort of ritual to ward of bad spirits, ie. you. I really like how that is what is mainly in focus even though it is a tad bit blurred, but that blurry look really adds to that feel that this photo has. The lighting is wonderful aswell.

Thats the thing - I'm sure it couldn't have been a scorpion, because I like in a area that just *couldn't* support them. Bad climate and all for them. But, you guess the colours right perfectly - it was black and yellow. I'll upload a colour version to scraps for you to have a look.
