The left two are intelligent, the right two are unintelligent, but they still form a foursome, they're the Perfectly Mismatched Pals!
My headcanon is there's strong friendships between Sniffles and Nutty and Baumey and Treeter, and Baumey is Sniffles' brother and Treeter is Nutty's brother, and it all comes together into this foursome.
