Timely Girl , heroine of the Golden Age, missing for centuries, now back in the future to fight evil and injustice! ... Or at least, that's what she wants everyone to think.

Debbie Dinkins was an orphan girl who was incredibly jealous of Jane Jeffries. Things just came so easy to her, it wasn't fair! When she learned that Jane was secretly the heroine Timely Girl, that only exacerbated Debbie's envy. So, when a group of Timely Girl's enemies approached Debbie with an offer to settle the score, she eagerly accepted. Using a pocket watch stolen from Father Time's mansion, they managed to bestow upon the young girl powers similar to Timely Girl. Thus was born Untimely Girl, the Maid Of Misfortune.

The two had many battles throughout the 40s, and Debbie considered herself Timely Girl's greatest foe, though she was really just a nuisance occasionally used by other villains as a distraction, though admittedly one who could lift a car. Eventually, Timely Girl and Untimely Girl had a final battle in Father Time's mansion, and in the ensuing fight, Untimely Girl seemingly was destroyed by a mass of chronal energy.

Debbie was dead, however. She found she was knocked centuries into the future. She initially decided to this was the perfect opportunity for revenge- pretend to be the returned Timely Girl, join a superteam, then commit crimes and destroy the reputation of her archfoe. Unfortunately, she hit a snag at step two. These new alien heroes she joined up with? It turns out she kinda LIKES them, and they're quickly becoming the family she never had. What's more, she's finding she enjoys being a, in her words, "goody two-shoes". She's very confused about what to do next, and she hopes that no one figures out her secret before she makes a decision.
