I dunno. He will be shocked, but somehow I cannot see him being the most shocked about it. After all, he knew she and the group she was with at the time were after him for the fox and the power it holds, and he's seen way weirder stuff before. I'm voting more for Hotaru being more shocked since it's her daughter and she probably doesn't have quite enough knowledge about what they were doing back then to even predict, much less suspect, this development.

You mean it's gonna be the same situation like with Sora in that filler story? I have the same thought. But I also suspect it will be different. If I recall correctly, Sora was... imbued(?) with a comparatively small amount of the fox's power at a young age, like toddler age or something. So it was after his birth, meaning it was, in his case, removable and the amount was small enough to allow him to survive the ordeal when it was removed and absorbed into the main body of the fox.
Hanako, on the other hand, seems to have inherited the fox's power from her parents as if it was a bloodline limit. Meaning it could be so integrated with her person that it may not be as easily removable, if at all.
Although I don't think it will make her a jinchuriki in a true sense, it will bring an interesting twist on things, that much is certain.
