Hi,This is a little piece I created based in the Sci Fi realm. This is my first time painting a female character and an environment.
This is also my 4th digital artwork I've ever completed so would highly appreciate any feedback given.

Nice image, especially since you say this is your first run at a female character in this medium. I like her pose, as if she's paused to check out something she just heard. Its got a natural energy to it. Her hands are well positioned (and well rendered too). Her outfit is simple yet interesting and believable. Nice detail with her hair, you can almost feel the breeze as it flutters her bangs.
Her proportions look good to my untrained eye, nothing jumps out to me demanding attention. And while there's nothing wrong with the feet, they don't quite look right.

Once I got the pose worked out everything seemed to fit together, I designed the outfit first time without stopping to think, it just seemed natural.
The hair was the easiest part to paint which I found extremely surprising as I initially thought it was going to be the hardest haha, It was very hard also to paint the suit making it look 3D. (I actually have a comparison of the line drawing and painting which I'll upload now infact.)
Yes I know exactly what you mean, but I was aiming for a more so relaxed type atmosphere so didn't want anything too flashy, plus this was more so a test run at painting a female character
