I know the lighting is not all that great, so I may update this later.
But for now, here's Zira's maternal grandparents.
What's with the grumpy grandpas in her family? Nuka definitely got some of his looks from his great-grandpa.
But Kovu takes more after his great-grandmother in facial features and probably personality. ^^
Not sure about backstory. Neither lion is evil though, nor seems to have much of an issue with how the Kingdom is managed at the time. I imagine these guys are alive during Ahadi's reign, and possibly Mohatu's as cubs.
I see them being nobles in the pride too. I haven't quite decided what to do yet.
