The most important human needing is "A sense of belonging"...It is so different to own something but being owned by someone or some place..It makes you to feel that you are not a stranger but a citizen of the place...

I think you're right, Ayhan. To me, it's something that came about with age. I didn't feel a strong connection with land when I was younger. It seems to me that there comes a stage in life when one has a need to find "a place to call home". One the other hand, there are probably many different places in the world where we can feel the physical environment resonate with our spirit. It's an amazing feeling, a very deep experience. To some extent it reminds me of what you wrote about Dante Alighieri's exile, because a forced exile is mainly a spiritual punishment. Thanks for your observation, my friend.
