Description
Sola heroine Matsuri Shihou in a bit of a bind.Trying some new stuff, both with the pose and the lighting. You can see that in my times - 2 hrs 44 min on pencils, 12 hrs 29 min on inks, and 20 hrs 46 min on colors, for a total of 35 hours, 59 minutes. Granted I could've cut out a good few hours if I hadn't had to redraw the skirt and hands so many times.
Brad Guigar once said, "first you get good, then you get fast, then you get good and fast." I pray that's true.

Wow, you really like to tie up Matsuri quite a lot (I lost count on how many times you have done it), not that there is anything wrong with it (well, it does explain the consequences of the fate she goes through as being one of the most sought after characters in the series).
Aside from the seemingly awkward bend of the back, everything else looks fine. The shading is the best part of it.

The pose looks great. I love the way she stands in those ropes. The lighting and shading gives the picture a very warm and soft touch. And of course the damsel loos adorable in that outfit and ropework. Awesome picture, imho it's worth every one of those 36 (!) hours of work. Thank you for posting it.

It does indeed look pretty.
My only critique is that she looks somewhat at an awkward bend in her back, rather than at her waist. Keep it up. And he is right about getting good, then getting fast, then both, the getting fast though doesn't necessarily mean speed paintings, but sub 10 for full renders :3
