Bascially, it's an AU where Luffy's crew consists of the other supernovas. I recommend reading!

I took a lot of liberties with them all... mostly with clothes. Has no background because the file is so big it slowed my SAI unbearably.

Drake is the resident only sane man in the fic, so I picture him occasionally sitting in the corner with a bottle of booze, questioning his choises in life. He's also the navigator, hence the log pose on his wrist. I ditched some of his original clothes, since they looked very captain-type stuff. But I couldn't not draw his hat.

Bonney is the cook, and she's about to beat up Apoo (the musician) because he's been playing the same tune for three days and she's sick of it. Apoo's shirt/coat/whatever now has the kanji for sake, because it kinda relates a bit to his dream. Also, I looked at the picture of the actual canon character and was like "yeah, so not drawing that". And his arms are the other way around when he plays that instrument in canon, *add expletive*.

Zoro has no chest scar and still owns yubashiri, because I'm a little unsure if he loses the sword in the fic and he never met Mihawk at Baratie (though not sure if they ever meet, the fic isn't there yet). He's sparring with Killer because, well, why wouldn't he? Dunno if he and Brook ever spar, but Brook has a very different style and is also not quite up there in skill. Killer might be a better match in that regard.

Kid looks probably the most different, but his usual garb just... It pretty much screams "captain!"

I kinda like to think that Law always has a creepy smile when he treats the others, which would unnerve everyone. Well, except Luffy would be completely immune, so I drew them together to have the creepiness utterly bounce off him. Law has a doctor's coat on my whim, and also because I didn't think he would wear his own mark on a shirt in this universe.

Another thing I like to think is that Hawkins would try and read Luffy, since we all know he isn't exactly the most normal person around. I actually went and looked up tarot card meanings, I'm such a nerd...

The Death is about endings, change and arrival of something new. Fitting for Luffy, the great enemy of status quo.

The Fool is about possibilities and new beginnings. Can also involve naivete and excess optimism.

The Wheel of Fortune is about change and coincidences, usually fortunate ones - as in, good luck.

The Emperor is about leadership, picked for the future pirate king.

The Devil has kind of a lot to it, but I picked it because it can indicate a powerful person who is hard to resist and very charismatic. It can also be about ambition, commitment and resourcefulness.
