hi, just looking through your gallery! I was wondering what brush sizes did you use for this and how big was the portrait? Thanks! I hope to be this good soon, I'm transitioning from drawing to painting and really love water colors.. you brought out what I really love about using this medium! +fave!

amazing realism
the best particular aspect of watercolors is probably its inate ability to make everything super soft.... dont you agree?

it depends....
You can use water color and make a foul detailed portrait, or you can make a soft, minimalist one using color with no lineats...

Excellent colours, and shading. I can't stand useing paint let alone watercolours. But you did it very well, and I admit when it's done well it looks great.

Of who? That is really admirable (by me anyway) I can't use watercolors because I just don't get how to use them right. I really admire anyone who can use watercolors....and use them this well? This is really amazing. Good job
