Great job! I don't download many wallpapers since I'm so picky, but this one is fantastic. The only thing I would change, would be to try and smooth out some of the texture. Make it appear smooth instead of a paint-like texture. Either way, a great job!

The texture issue was because I was working on it at 50%, so I didn't (mea culpa) notice the roughness of the texture until I viewed it at full size. I was nearly done at that point. I thought about using a smart blur filter to try and smooth it out, but decided that it removed too much of the detail that I actually wanted to keep. Oh well..... the insight of hindsight.
