This makes me happy; thank you for putting your affection for Josh into art because I've been hoping to find something like this. It's nice to see him as I imagine he was before he stopped taking his medication. It's hard to realize that we never got to see the real Josh in the game, because he was either already losing control of himself, or was passed-out drunk.
Again, thanks for sharing your art. You captured Rami Malek's features very nicely.

I get the feeling you love him just as much as I do.
It's sad that we've only seen Josh affected by what happened to his sisters.
But based on his character traits I believe that he was a super loving and kind brotherly figure before everything went to shit.
+ I just really really really wanted to see him happy after the horrific ending ;_____;
And whenever canon doesn't suffice it's time to put my pen to tablet and make it happen anyway.

I agree with you wholeheartedly, my friend, on all points. I'm also taking action and putting my pen to paper in order to write a fanfiction that focuses more on Josh, as well as his longtime friendship with Chris, and developing friendship with Sam, all while the events of the game are taking place. I admit, however, that my romantic shipper's heart has hooked its claws into the plot somewhat... morewhat... alotofwhat...

Oh, thank god I'm not the only one. I haven't looked up any fics yet, so I don't know how well the fandom embraced Joshtopher (as I call it in my story notes. Portmanteaus are so much easier.)
Anyway, I was gonna say that I would be looking out for your fan art but I just discovered that you posted one! It's beautiful, it really is. Your art style is very nice to look at. I'm probably going to be admiring at that picture a lot as I write my story; it'll be a good motivator. Hope you don't mind.

I'm glad you don't mind, because it's happened. Your picture of Josh and Chris prompted a scene for my story, and I hope it continues to fit into where I want the fic to go. I don't want to get your hopes up, though; as much as I love deep, thought-provoking stories, I sort of try for that and then everything turns into fluffy mush. :/ But anyway, I was wondering if you might be interested in reading the piece that your artwork inspired and giving me some honest feedback on it? 'Cause I'll be real with you, I'm pretty insecure about my characterizations, (especially because we don't get to see much of the real Josh in the game, and therefore have little basis for his true character.)

I just need to keep at it really, the artistic limbo is probably because I created something so many people like and now my brain is just "WHAT IF WE CAN NEVER MAKE SOMETHING LIKE THIS AGAIN????"

And yes, I would love to read your fic. Tho I'd probably look at more stuff than characterization, I'm currently in college to become a teacher of the English language and my study had corrupted my mind to immediately look at all kinds of stuff when it comes to written stories, letters, etc.
