I buy patterns from my local fabric store (you can find a lot of good patterns at fabric stores). I can't remember which one I used exactly because it was Kolibri's XD But any long sleeved shirt design should do. Some patterns even suggest difficulty levels on them, which is nice XD

I've noticed that. *face palms* the worst part is I can't find a fabric store even close to where I live. Why does God hate me?!?

Well if you eve find out, let me know. *ponders* what fabrics do you advise?

Also, this is a general thing that I realized I haven't asked anyone yet: do you do anything special with the collar peice that you get from the pattern or do you just make it like everything else? I've been wondering that for ages.

I'm basically new to sewing and the like (I wonder if I said this before *checks* nope) so for a pattern, do you just sew the peices of fabric together in their respective spots?

Hm... what did you do for his shirt underneith and did you A-buy the pants like that B-Edit pants that you had or C-make that pants and add the stripes.

Also, did you buy the headband because I hear a lot of people say it's too big to put on their heads and i was wondering if it fit yours at first.

I bought the pants (they're yoga pants) and then made the belt by hand out of stretchy fabric. Pants as plain as that are easy to find, you can find them at exercise stores or regular stores. If you want to make them, there's plenty of patterns For the shirt enderneath I just made a regular shirt, but instead of putting on buttons I put on a zipper.

For a pattern you have to sew them together or else they fall apart o.O If you meant did I sew the jacket to the shirt then no, I didn't.

Note to self: steal mom's yoga pants. I have to make a shirt with a zipper anyway for a Riku cosplay I'm working on, although it reaches all the way down your stomach.

I ment the lines on on the leg and, now I guess it's a belt. It doesn't look like a woop belt tough, how did you get it to stay on the pants?

No, I never figure out HOW you sew the patterns togeth since I've never tried that before and neither have anyone else I know. Shipping costs hate me.

not long XD it's a pretty simple costume... I think I spent the most time on the straps on the jacket.
