Personality:

Ashe is the strong silent, gentle giant type. His height and lack of expression makes him seem intimidating but really he's unsure of how to approach people (or simply put, socially awkward/retarded). Deep down Ashe is very kind and likes to help and is very cautious around weapons. He doesn't like being stared in the eyes and gets nervous easily. Since his facial expressions are held back, you can usually tell how he's feeling through just his general atmosphere or body language.

Bio:

Ashe's mother died giving birth to him, an inexplicable happening since his Mother was very healthy. Ashe was looked at as a bad omen but despite this his Father took care of him and taught him how to fight with a Lance (becomes his regular weapon). He grew up not having very many friends so he spent most of his time training or doing nothing.

One day his Father went too far into Tugley Wood, the reason never known. He returned home having gone mad and found Ashe in the yard and stabbed him in his right eye, screaming at him how horrible they were and that he killed his Mother.

Nairu, going home after completing a mission, hears the yelling and smells blood. He stops and heads in the direction of Ashe and his Father, finding Ashe's Father about to kill him. Nairu manages to drive away Ashe's Father who disappears into the Wood never to be found. Nairu helped Ashe heal up and would return every now and then to check up on him. Unfortunately Ashe became blind in the eye he was stabbed. Through these visits the two got to know each other and became close friends.

Ashe lived for a few years feeling guilty, believing his Father's words, that he was a curse, that he killed his Mother. Over time this became his biggest insecurity and often he didn't believe it but there are times he would blame himself.

Soon, Nairu's Master found out about the visits and punished Nairu telling him never to see Ashe again. Ashe stopped receiving visits from Nairu and they never met again until 5 years later, when they found each other at WA.

After a while at WA, Ashe started dating Dakota Wrangler and they were beyond content and happy with each other. Unfortunately, Dakota had to leave the school due to personal matters.
