Everytime I go on zbrush it turns out to be a horrible mess XD.

It just takes practice! I've been using zbrush for about 4 years now. So I say just keep at it

Oh that explains it, I got exposed to zbrush in class a few months ago. Though I'm an environment modeller so I don't use it in the same way..
