Artemis is a Nhandu chromatus girl and I had the opportunity to take a picture of her at night.
I got her about a year ago as a rescue animal, such as my other tarantula.

I used a flashlight only, diffused with a paper sheet. The exposure time was 13 seconds with 100 ISO with a 7.1 aperture. I like, how we can see all the details, even though with my yeys, I hardly could see anything. Good thing, tarantulas do not really move a lot. Depending on your monitor settings, this one appears to be very dark, and yes, it WAS a very dark scene. I could have gotten it lighter I guess, but I did not want to destroy the original nightly mood of the picture.
