Description In two weeks me and a great classmate from the Art School HAKU (Hardanger Kunstskule) have been working on a reindeer in Hardanger - Norway.
More specifically in Eidfjord

The hole school was split up in 7 groups, one for each of the 7 municipality in Hardanger to make a land art that should standing for two weeks, in celebration of the 200th anniversary since Norway was split up from the union with Denmark in 1814.

So me and my classmate got Eidfjord, it was like deepest in the Hardanger fjord, and took around 3h with boat to get there.
We slept some nights there too at a innkeeper, and it was a incredible place longer up in the fjord, nearly no other hoses, just some farms, and a camping spot.

We chose to make a reindeer because it was reindeer antlers depicted on Eidfjord's Coat of Arms. And most of Eidfjord is located high up on the fjord mountain where it lives a lot of caribou, and have been a long tradition in hunting.

And we chose to combine natural wood with industrial wood from the location, to combine long made driftwood, as we found along the coast, with fast made wood joinery, that we got from the local wood an furniture factory.

And then it was just to sketch some ideas, and we got to this, and are weary happy about the result.

Wow...
That looks so great.
Not only the reindeer but the landscape too...
I need to visit norway. *_*

The blur at the edges is a bit too much for my liking.

Thanks.
And yes, I don't like the blur ether, It was an effect on the camera that was on, and couldn't see that on the small screen until I notice it on the pc-screen back home, so ended up with it.
Fun fact: The sun was only up to 4 PM, because of the mountain, as you can see. x)

Oh that happens to me sometimes too.
Something is on but invisible on the small screen. That sucks so much!
But the reindeer is clear/sharp so... that's good!
^^

4pm?
In that case I would have loved to sleep in till the sun came up.
xD
