Description From Saint Seiya episode G, Krios. Blade made of divine blood, Ichor (well normally it's totally blue but it was rather bad).

Odd helmet, uh ?

Thanks !

Well, I know there are some drawings of the lynx and the triangle saint somewhere in the web, but for the giant, I fear that there is only the manga to show them...

It depends on how the manga will evolve in the future. If it's good, Maybe I will add one or two.

Oooh I love Episode G! It is so epic I can overlook the bizarre Okada anatomy. And this is a simply breath taking piece! So many details wow!

yeah I'm the same on this, G isn't perfect but I still think his good points are greater than the weak points.

I like the Lost Canvas style better but Okada does better action scenes than Teshirogi, plus the scope with the Titans feels so much more EPIC its great!

well, "episde G" is a prequel drawn by megumu Okada, and is (almost totally) focused on Aiolia about ten years before StS. The story is about a war between the sanctuary (with Saga as the pope) and the titans led by Cronos.

The drawings are quite odd and confusing, with many anatomy problems (very very thin waists), but is very detailed and conveys an epic feeling.
The main interest is that the titans are very interesting characters, and this series is not as manicheist as the hadès part, and the overall plot seems more advanced than the other StS series.
However it is really the "love it or hate it" category ^^.

Maxa-art In reply to hannah1400 [2011-02-08 07:26:30 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, I guess it can be rather confusing.

The original manga is Saint Seiya (1986), by Masami Kurumada. However many people discovered the anime first (truth to be told, the manga is not especially well drawn).

Then, other series were created, two prequels ("Episode G" and "Lost Canvas"). And we have "Next Dimension", which is the continuation of Saint Seiya and drawn by Kurumada (and there is a time travel so even if it's a continuation, it's like a prequel too...well...and it sucks IMO ^^U)

but I think you're too rush with the background ( the metal-tail alike -frame thing)

Maxa-art In reply to rakaon [2008-09-30 10:36:18 +0000 UTC]

It's true that I lack patience sometimes, initially I wanted the "Aster Blade" (the metal tail) to be a little unrefined to make it appear more in the background, it looks like I overdid it (more precisely, "overnodid it", in fact ), though.

However, thanks !
