Illustration for the book "Praise of the word". 200 writters, artists, Personalities of the whole world in favor of the education and the culture)A time ago, concretly 15 december 2007, I received a request of the IES Albero of AlcalΓ‘ de Guadaira (Sevilla, Spain), across Juan A. MuΓ±oz, vice-director of the school, to collaborate in the project of the book "Praise of the word" with some illustration. The proposal of this book is the foment of reading among the pupils, to grow in the culture and the education, and was an honour to collaborate with my paintbrushes with this illustration.

I love the bird and the little details like the rusting on the armor. Nice work.

I love the sense of form! The dragon reminds me of a merry-go-round animal which has escaped. One thing I would have loved to see is maybe a shadow or reflection on the water to give the dragon a sense of place over the water. Right now, your sense of space between the dragon and the water is a little lost. Just a suggestion.
