I thought she was wearing the Black and Gold costume for the movie, shows you how much I keep up on this and other movie news (I don't really, on any of them even Deadpool my fav)

I am not 100% sure for her outfit in the movie, but I doubt it will be this one
Disney won't allow them a costume with half her ass exposed

Damn, I know Disney owns Marvel now but they do need to quit being so heavy handed and allow for more creative freedom, or else I fear everything will be too kiddifed to the point it becomes ridiculous. Thats never a good thing

They already did that, almost nobody dies in the clash with Ultron, so booooring
I liked the Man of Steel, many people died, but that tends to happen when Superman is fighting ZOD

I actually enjoyed Age of Ultron but I see your point on the deaths. Remember they did kill 1 movie version of Quicksilver, the non-mutant one while Fox has the rights to the mutant Quicksilver ( and he had a memorable scene in Days of Future Past  )

Man of Steel was pretty good, awesome fight between Superman and Zod and they are using the destruction as part of the storyline in Batman vs. Superman. Apparently, Bruce Wayne lost some quite a few employees in that fight and its pretty obvious who he's going to put the blame on. Sounds pretty badass    just from that.

It was a great movie, but it would have had a better impact if the scenes shown in the trailers were actually part of the movie, don't you think?

No Maximoff brothers in a demonstration, nor Ultron saying those chilling lines and I understand the Wakanda nation because of Black Panther to come to theaters, but the floating city could have been a real city, that would make a more believeble impact to the story. And Ultron could have built a portable detonator to blow up the city, but I loved it when Thor blew it up

Man of Steel is my favorite Superman movie so far, even though the origin story is a little lame
I cannot wait six more months for Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice I want it NOW!! XD

Gutsrager In reply to MaximilianDraco [2015-09-10 21:21:07 +0000 UTC]

I don't recall the trailers you mention but thats just like me as my memory is not exactly the best. Im looking to forward to Black Panther coming to the MCU and appreciated the nice tie in they did. I understand what you are saying on the floating city and I don't disagree at all and it was really badass when Thor showed his god powers to prevent a truly epic catastrophe from happening.

The original Superman with Christopher Reeves and Gene Hackman as a cheeseball Lex Luthor (its the way he was written most of his history until a VERY MUCH NEEDED Reboot -not retconn- in 1986 in the comics) is still my favorite Superman movie. Damn my age is showing XD. It's not some romanticized nostalgia though as I have watched the movie many times over the years and I can say it still stands up today. Man of Steel, Superman Returns, then Superman 2 are my favs after that in that order.
Six months won't kill you lol, especially if it turns out as good as I and many others are expecting.

Hahaha I agree with you

I saw that movie, it is a good one, if they would just redo it, no changes except, the technology would be really amazing
Gene Hackman is the best Lex Luthor I've seen so far, even better than the weird Kevin Spacey in Superman Returns. The old Lex was a real genious, not a wannabe that the one from BvS looks in the trailers "The red capes are coming" WTF man, I will judge when I see it, but they make him look really lame in the short sequences they showed us so far

I'm glad you do

They can't do a remake, as I said they honestly rebooted Superman back in 1986 - including Lex Luthor. I did a fact check and Superman Returns is homage sequel to the motion pictures Superman (1978) and Superman II (1980)* and although its more or less the same continuity you see just how radically different Lex Luthor is. I haven't seen Lex Luthor in the new BvS, haven't seen too many of those trailers yet. I'll get around to it when Im feeling better as this is 1 of the movies I really want to see BADLY.

Well for BvS there are only 2 trailers, the first was released a few months ago and the second, longer was shown at a ComiCon that I cannot remember the name

I expect a lot of things from the movie, but it might be somewhat slow, the Avengers had the main characters in their own movies so no origin stories were needed And Lex moviepilot.com/posts/2015/07/1…

You can ignore this as they could be just diversions from Warner and DC XD

Gutsrager In reply to MaximilianDraco [2015-09-13 02:05:09 +0000 UTC]

I watched the first trailer TWICE, the second once, read the article and I can honestly say Im more stoked then ever then ever to watch Batman Vs. Superman.

Sorry for the delay btw, I stayed up way too late last night, couldn't get to sleep and basically screwed myself on my sleeping schedule. I'll be going to bed going to bed early this time.

I'm still honestly surprised by how Marvel studios (bought by Disney after the success of Iron Man) blindsided DC and WB, given all the inherant advantages DC/WB has had for such a long time. I'm glad they did and that DC/WB is responding with what looks like good movies in the works and the whole continiunity thing going as well (beyond the excellent Man of Steel & Dark Knight )

As for Lex Luthor, I wasn't worried at what I saw in the trailer. Jesse Eissenberg playing him is a very talented actor. He showed that in The Social Network, a movie that where he played Facebook co-creator Mark Zuckerburg (there's ALOT of fiction in it I found out later) masterfully  . Lex Luthor's odd/eccentric behavior is hard to judge from just a few short clips, but I'm sure there's much more to it. He has reason to eliminate Superman (fear), kryptonite, connections, Zod's body. He is probably the one sending Bruce Wayne/Batman all those chilling Joker-esque messages  . Simply too much to show in one clip that should really focus on Batman and Superman.

Im actually eagerly awaiting more clips in the future

I like how DC/WB is making their movies, but the "no joke" policy is a little too much, people make jokes in the most horrible situations, it is human nature for dealing with things. Even though Marvel is kinda abusing it

I don't particularly like the actor playing Lex, but that doesn't mean he will do a bad job, the part I don't like is the way he talks, it may be only the phrases they put up on the trailers, but he looks to be really lame on them, unsure, like he is desperately trying to convince the female Senator. But that might be just Lex acting innocent, we will know more when the movie is out

So far their upcoming movies are looking but I'm 100% on the joke thing. Seems they are going to the other extreme and that can get tedious in crazy situations where heros/superheroes often find themselves.

I've already mentioned my feelings about Jesse Eissenberg and gave an excellent example (The Social Network) where he did a fine job. He did portray a socially inept (especially with women) awkward but obsessed and driven character masterfully. Luthor has the last 2 qualities in abundance and none of the first 2. I did see a bit of awkwardness in the clip but like you said that could be him being conniving. It's simply way too little for me to draw conclusions on. We shall know more later and I can't wait

I am liking the Suicide Squad trailers, even though The Joker is a little different than any other version we've seen so far. And there are a lot of theories that he might not be the real Joker, but I think he is, they needed a reboot on the character after Ledger's one, they needed something different, that had nothing in common with the Dark Knight so it won't have to be compared

I admit I am really curious about how Lex gets Supes to kneel before him, and who is Wonder Woman fighting in the trailer, but I'd rather not know till I see the movie, the less I know the better

Gutsrager In reply to MaximilianDraco [2015-09-15 22:02:00 +0000 UTC]

I need to watch more Suicide Squad trailers (shocker, yeah not I know XD). From what I have seen, it looks cool. Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn she just plays the part perfectly in the Comic-con trailer. I know alot of people will focus on the Joker due to Heath Ledger's out of this world portrayal of him in The Dark Knight and Jared Leto (also lead singer of 30 seconds to Mars) has a massive act to follow. The Joker he is doing is closer to the comic book Joker and it is a distinct difference for the actor and pretty much a reboot as you said.

I can speculate all day to those things, but I think it's best we leave them to our imaginations, more trailers and finally the movies. A good tease is usually a good tease, as long as it's not a woman who is teasing you forever and then giving you nothing XD
