I watched the first trailer TWICE, the second once, read the article and I can honestly say Im more stoked then ever then ever to watch Batman Vs. Superman.
Sorry for the delay btw, I stayed up way too late last night, couldn't get to sleep and basically screwed myself on my sleeping schedule. I'll be going to bed going to bed early this time.
I'm still honestly surprised by how Marvel studios (bought by Disney after the success of Iron Man) blindsided DC and WB, given all the inherant advantages DC/WB has had for such a long time. I'm glad they did and that DC/WB is responding with what looks like good movies in the works and the whole continiunity thing going as well (beyond the excellent Man of Steel & Dark Knight )
As for Lex Luthor, I wasn't worried at what I saw in the trailer. Jesse Eissenberg playing him is a very talented actor. He showed that in The Social Network, a movie that where he played Facebook co-creator Mark Zuckerburg (there's ALOT of fiction in it I found out later) masterfully . Lex Luthor's odd/eccentric behavior is hard to judge from just a few short clips, but I'm sure there's much more to it. He has reason to eliminate Superman (fear), kryptonite, connections, Zod's body. He is probably the one sending Bruce Wayne/Batman all those chilling Joker-esque messages . Simply too much to show in one clip that should really focus on Batman and Superman.
Im actually eagerly awaiting more clips in the future

I like how DC/WB is making their movies, but the "no joke" policy is a little too much, people make jokes in the most horrible situations, it is human nature for dealing with things. Even though Marvel is kinda abusing it
I don't particularly like the actor playing Lex, but that doesn't mean he will do a bad job, the part I don't like is the way he talks, it may be only the phrases they put up on the trailers, but he looks to be really lame on them, unsure, like he is desperately trying to convince the female Senator. But that might be just Lex acting innocent, we will know more when the movie is out

I need to watch more Suicide Squad trailers (shocker, yeah not I know XD). From what I have seen, it looks cool. Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn she just plays the part perfectly in the Comic-con trailer. I know alot of people will focus on the Joker due to Heath Ledger's out of this world portrayal of him in The Dark Knight and Jared Leto (also lead singer of 30 seconds to Mars) has a massive act to follow. The Joker he is doing is closer to the comic book Joker and it is a distinct difference for the actor and pretty much a reboot as you said.
I can speculate all day to those things, but I think it's best we leave them to our imaginations, more trailers and finally the movies. A good tease is usually a good tease, as long as it's not a woman who is teasing you forever and then giving you nothing XD
