I feel I am loking a Warrior Poet

A Warrior Poet is a concept that come from the pre migration Norse and was embraced by the very early Irish. We do not know how early the Irish spoke of Warrior Poet because the Irish did not write, but they are found in the earliest of the Norse sagas. Many of the sagas were written/read/sung by Warrior Poets.

There were bards who wrote and sang pretty songs and then there were Warrior Poets who went to battle and really live the life of a warrior and than serviced to write/sing about it.

Or in modern terms "Been there, done that, found some bit of wisdom and lived to tell/write/paint/sing/ or photograph it"

Thank you very much for such a fascinating story!

Now that I've learned about the warrior poets i can see how it could be possible to find a relationship between them and the image.

thanks again!
